Bio

Hello, and welcome to my website! I am a Textile/Print Designer and Apparel Designer. Most commonly, a surface designer. I have been trained and certified with my B.F.A. in Textile Design, and Associate of Arts in Apparel Design.  I have a passion for sustainability, and eco-friendly methods. Music, photography, exhibits, literature, film, and nature are included always in my artistic abilities. I create prints, repeats, designs and swatches intended for apparel, interior, wallpaper, bedding, products, and many other functions where print design is needed.

I love to be outdoors, taking in the scenery, and exploring places I haven't visited yet. I've grown up in Northern California my whole life, and understand why I love nature, and care so profoundly about the environment.

Our planet is why we are here. I always try to incorporate this thought everyday into my creative process and lifestyle. Being mindful, goes a long way if it is done right; especially keeping in mind that less to no stress put on the environment. It is a must and important to my niche.

I always appreciate new encounters and anything helping me gain more knowledge in design. Knowledge is power! Whether it is helping me understand any art form such as Apparel, Textiles, Home Decor, Accessories.

Expertise

My work focuses on color theory, fabric R &D, CAD design, hand or digital illustration, and  print. My ability to use space and  balance of materials and motifs to make a harmonious swatch, or collection depending on what project I'm diving into. Color, design, print, apparel, textiles, and drawing are my expertise. I'm industry-trained in my abilities & expertise: KALEDO, CC, hand & digital illustration, color theory(international color design winner through WGSN), knowledge of fabric, lab dips, SRS, S/O and working with cross-functional teams in-house or over seas. Clear and cordial communication are vital to any client or team to maintain a balanced relationship.

My spectrum of expertise includes  fashion, home-decor, accessories, and many more surface mediums, are what I'm willing and able to put effort and hard work into. Learning any new skill is always a gift that I welcome. 

Whether it is digital, hand-drawn or altogether created, I will always make it work to the best of my abilities.
